About Vincent
I am an immensely passionate and driven individual… and as a curious boy growing up in the Loire Valley I wanted to learn why this beverage was so highly prized, so I embarked on a life of wine, from picking the sun-ripened grapes, working in the small wineries, learning fermentation and blending, the maturing, to bottling, and then marketing to the consumer for their consumption and enjoyment.
Through self-learning and dedication, I became the World’s Youngest Master Sommelier at the age of 23, and since then, I have been so fortunate to present and serve wines all around the world.
I am a very personable individual and articulate meeting new acquaintances, and extremely confident in all environments, from the winery, the chateaux, to the boardroom.
My extensive experience of wine and knowledge of the industry has developed me to be highly commercial and results orientated, and manage the best wines of exclusive collectors, through to some of the world’s leading restaurants and hotel chains, and private members clubs. I do not believe in keeping my knowledge of wine to myself; I have written several books, been teaching the WSET Levels 1&2, and been consulted, and presented on television, as ultimately I want to educate the world, further building the reputations of excellent producers, fantastic wines and amazing vintages, and share the never ending pleasure that the complex, yet simple grape has to offer.
